Which exercise bike is right for me?
- Spin bike – a heavy flywheel gives a smooth, road-like ride, and the resistance knob takes you from an easy spin to a hard climb. The best choice for indoor cycling and serious cardio.
- Air bike – a fan creates the resistance, so the harder you pedal, the harder it gets. Great for high-intensity intervals and full-body conditioning.
- Foldable X-bike – a quiet magnetic upright bike that folds away, with built-in resistance bands for upper-body work. Ideal for apartments and small spaces.
- Mini exercise bike – a small pedal exerciser you can use from a chair, for arms or legs. Good for gentle exercise, mobility and rehab.
What to check before you buy
- Flywheel and resistance – a heavier flywheel feels smoother and more stable at speed. Magnetic resistance is the quietest option.
- Fit – check the seat and handlebar height ranges so the bike suits everyone in your home. At the bottom of the pedal stroke your knee should be only slightly bent.
- Max user weight – our bikes are rated from 110kg to 120kg.
- Floor protection – a gym equipment mat under your bike protects the floor and reduces noise and vibration.

Exercise bike FAQs
What is the difference between a spin bike and an exercise bike?
A spin bike has a heavy flywheel at the front, a racing-style riding position and manual resistance, like an indoor road bike. "Exercise bike" also covers upright bikes, air bikes and compact pedal exercisers.
Is an exercise bike good for weight loss?
Yes. Cycling burns energy with very little impact on your joints, so it is easy to ride often. Mixing steady rides with short, hard intervals is an effective way to improve fitness.
How long should I ride an exercise bike?
Start with 15–20 minutes at a comfortable pace and build up to 30–45 minutes, three to five times a week. Add intervals once you are comfortable.
